Seven members of the authority constitute a quorum of the members. The affirmative vote of the greater of 5 members, present and voting, or a majority of those members present and voting is necessary for any action taken by the members. A vacancy in the membership of the authority does not impair the right of the quorum to exercise all powers and perform all duties of the members. [PL 2021, c. 572, §1 (AMD).]

- Authority: means the Finance Authority of Maine as established by this chapter. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 10 Sec. 963-A
- Majority: when used in reference to age shall mean the age of 18 and over. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 1 Sec. 72
- Quorum: The number of legislators that must be present to do business.
