Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 17-6903
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.
All notices required to be given to stockholders and creditors in any action in which a trustee or receiver for a corporation was appointed shall be given by the clerk of the district court or in the manner provided by any applicable section of the code of civil procedure, unless otherwise ordered by the district court.
