The Auditor General of the State of Illinois must conduct a financial audit, management audit, and program audit of the Rend Lake Conservancy District and file a certified copy of the report of the audits with the Governor and with the Legislative Audit Commission.
The Rend Lake Conservancy District must reimburse the Auditor General for the cost of the audits.
Notwithstanding Sections 6 and 8 of the State Mandates Act, no reimbursement by the State is required for the implementation of any mandate created by this Section.

- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
