Terms Used In Indiana Code 26-1-1-101

  • Uniform Commercial Code: A set of statutes enacted by the various states to provide consistency among the states' commercial laws. It includes negotiable instruments, sales, stock transfers, trust and warehouse receipts, and bills of lading. Source: OCC
     (2) IC 26-1 applies to a transaction to the extent that it is governed by another article of the Uniform Commercial Code.
