Any person soliciting the business of workers compensation insurance for a group-funded workers compensation pool must be licensed as provided in Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 40-240 through 40-243, and amendments thereto, except that no such person shall be required to satisfy the certification requirements regarding insurance companies providing reinsurance, secondary insurance, or excess coverage.
