Terms Used In Maine Revised Statutes Title 13 Sec. 3163

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
The corporation shall annually elect a president, clerk and treasurer. The treasurer shall give bond with sureties sufficient in the opinion of the trustees for the faithful discharge of his duty. The clerk shall be sworn.
