17-3-101. Purpose. The purpose of this part is to provide more complete information regarding federal assistance programs to the governor, state agencies, and the legislature and coordinate federally assisted programs with other state programs.
Terms Used In Montana Code 17-3-101
- Federal assistance programs: means any financial assistance made to a state agency by an agency of the United States government, whether a grant, loan, gift, contract, or in any other form. See Montana Code 17-3-102
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Montana Code 1-1-201
