If the Commissioner finds that probable cause for revocation of any license exists and that enforcement of this chapter requires immediate suspension of a license pending investigation, he or she may, upon 5 days’ written notice and a hearing, enter an order suspending a license for a period not exceeding 20 days, pending a hearing upon the revocation.
Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 675.410
- Commissioner: means the Commissioner of Financial Institutions. See Nevada Revised Statutes 675.020
- License: means a license, issued under the authority of this chapter, to make loans in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, at a single place of business. See Nevada Revised Statutes 675.020
- Probable cause: A reasonable ground for belief that the offender violated a specific law.
