Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 44:1-25
- Superintendent: means the employee of a welfare board of a county or district authorized to act for it and under its direction and to act for overseers where there are none. See New Jersey Statutes 44:1-1
The superintendent of welfare shall hold office for one year and until the appointment of his successor unless sooner removed for cause after due notice and hearing.
