Terms Used In New Mexico Statutes 13-4-14.2
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
- Probation: A sentencing alternative to imprisonment in which the court releases convicted defendants under supervision as long as certain conditions are observed.
The director may:
A. cancel, revoke or suspend with conditions, including probation, the registration of any party required to be registered pursuant to the Public Works Minimum Wage Act N.M. Stat. Ann. § 13-4-10 to 13-4-17 for failure to comply with the registration provisions or for good cause, subject to appeal pursuant to Section 13-4-15 N.M. Stat. Ann.; and
B. seek injunctive relief in district court for failure to comply with the registration provisions of the Public Works Minimum Wage Act.
