(a) The board shall organize immediately after the appointment and qualification of its members.
Terms Used In Rhode Island General Laws 5-86-6
- Board: means the licensing board of applied behavior analysts within the Rhode Island department of health, established pursuant to the provisions of § 5-86-4. See Rhode Island General Laws 5-86-2
- Department: means the Rhode Island department of health. See Rhode Island General Laws 5-86-2
- Director: means the director of the Rhode Island department of health. See Rhode Island General Laws 5-86-2
- Quorum: The number of legislators that must be present to do business.
(b) The board shall annually elect a chairperson and secretary. Meetings may be called by the chairperson or the director of the department of health or by written request of three (3) members of the board. A majority of seats filled shall constitute a quorum. The board shall meet as often as necessary.
