Any hospital service plan corporation organized under the provisions of this chapter may enter into contracts for the rendering of hospital service to any of its subscribers with licensed hospitals maintained and operated by any corporation, association, individual or any political subdivision of this state.

- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- State: when used in context signifying a jurisdiction other than the State of South Dakota, a state, the District of Columbia, a territory, commonwealth, or possession of the United States of America, or a province of the Dominion of Canada. See South Dakota Codified Laws 58-1-2
