(a) The council may request assistance and advice from all state departments or agencies, including the:
(1) attorney general;
(2) Texas State Library; and
(3) State Auditor.
(b) On the request of either of the joint chairs of the council, the attorney general shall render opinions and give advice and assistance to the council.
