Terms Used In Texas Parks and Wildlife Code 44.014

  • Wild: when used in reference to an animal, means a species, including each individual of a species, that normally lives in a state of nature and is not ordinarily domesticated. See Texas Parks and Wildlife Code 1.101

In order that native game species may be preserved, game animals held under a game breeder’s license are subject to all laws and regulations of this state pertaining to wild game animals except as specifically provided in this chapter.
