- state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
The members of the commission appointed by the governor under Alaska Stat. § 41.37.170(c) and members appointed under Alaska Stat. § 41.37.170(d) and (e) who are not members of the legislature shall be representative of the diversity of users and uses of federal land in the state.
