(a) The check of a depositor may not be certified unless the amount of the check actually stands to the credit of the drawer.

Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 06.05.090

  • bank: means a person doing a banking business, including persons subject to the law of this or another jurisdiction. See Alaska Statutes 06.05.990
  • Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
