Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 17.20.320

  • person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
  • state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

A person is not subject to the penalties of Alaska Stat. § 17.20.305, 17.20.315, or Alaska Stat. § 45.50.47145.50.561 for having violated Alaska Stat. § 17.20.290(a)(1) or (3) if that person establishes a guaranty or undertaking signed by and containing the name and address of the person residing in the state from whom the article was received in good faith, to the effect that it is not adulterated or misbranded within the meaning of this chapter.
