Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 26.05.110

  • state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

In the event of imminent invasion by a foreign power and for the same reasons set forth in Alaska Stat. § 26.05.070, if the governor has ordered into active service all of the available organized militia or if the organized militia is in active federal service, the governor may order the unorganized militia or any portion of it considered necessary into active service, and have them perform military duty for the state subject to this chapter, as the circumstances require.
