Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 36.30.615
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
A hearing on a protest appeal shall be conducted in accordance with Alaska Stat. § 36.30.670 and regulations adopted by the commissioner to the extent the regulations do not conflict with regulations adopted under Alaska Stat. § 44.64.060.
