Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 42.08.260

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
  • state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

The commission shall include in its annual reports under Alaska Stat. § 42.05.211 and Alaska Stat. § 42.06.220 a review of its activities under this chapter during the previous fiscal year. The report must address the regulation of instate natural gas pipeline facilities in the state as of June 30 of each year and must contain details about the commission’s compliance with the performance measures in this chapter.
