Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 44.29.092

  • peace officer: means
    (A) an officer of the state troopers. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
  • person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
  • Probable cause: A reasonable ground for belief that the offender violated a specific law.

A peace officer or an agent or employee of the Department of Health who is authorized by the commissioner of health to enforce this section may issue a citation for a violation of Alaska Stat. § 11.76.100, 11.76.106, 11.76.107, or 11.76.109 if there is probable cause to believe a person has violated Alaska Stat. § 11.76.100, 11.76.106, 11.76.107, or 11.76.109.
