(a) A person who knowingly violates Alaska Stat. § 45.65.055 is guilty of a class B misdemeanor. In this subsection, “knowingly” has the meaning given in Alaska Stat. § 11.81.900.

Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 45.65.060

  • person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
  • state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

(c) A person who knowingly or wilfully alters, changes, or counterfeits an emblem is guilty of a class B misdemeanor.
(d) A person who knowingly or wilfully sells or offers for sale an article that is not made in the state but that bears the emblem is guilty of a class B misdemeanor.
(e) A person who knowingly or wilfully uses the emblem for an article that is not made in the state is guilty of a class B misdemeanor.

(g) A person who has been issued a permit under Alaska Stat. § 45.65.045 to issue permits to use the emblem, is guilty of a class B misdemeanor if the person knowingly or wilfully issues a permit for an article that is not made in the state.
