In addition to any other information required to be released under this chapter, the department of social and health services and the authority are authorized, pursuant to RCW 4.24.550, to release relevant information that is necessary to protect the public, concerning a specific person committed under RCW * 71.05.280(3) or ** 71.05.320(3)(c) following dismissal of a sex offense as defined in RCW 9.94A.030.
