By December 1, 2012, the department shall share with the legislature the department’s report, which was funded by the centers for disease control and prevention, concerning emergency cardiac and stroke care.

- Cardiac: means acute coronary syndrome, an umbrella term used to cover any group of clinical symptoms compatible with acute myocardial ischemia, which is chest discomfort or other symptoms due to insufficient blood supply to the heart muscle resulting from coronary artery disease.
