The commissioner of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, with the approval of the Governor, is authorized and empowered to accept title to any property purchased or acquired pursuant to § 1-53-27; to operate or lease such property for such period as may be deemed necessary to protect the investment therein; and to sell or otherwise dispose of such property in a manner consistent with the provisions of §§ 1-53-23 to 1-53-37, inclusive.
