Unless the power of the agent is coupled with an interest in the subject of the agency, an agency is terminated as to every person having notice thereof by:
(1) Revocation by the principal;

- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Person: includes natural persons, partnerships, associations, cooperative corporations, limited liability companies, and corporations. See South Dakota Codified Laws 2-14-2
(2) Death of the principal; or
(3) His incapacity to contract.
