For the purposes of this chapter a drug shall be deemed to be misbranded if the package or label is false or misleading as to the state, territory, or country in which the drug was manufactured or produced.

- drug: as used in this chapter shall include all medicines and preparations recognized in the United States Pharmacopoeia or National Formulary for internal or external use, and any substance or mixtures of substances intended to be used for the cure, mitigation, or prevention of disease of either man or domestic animal.
