- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
A court may not order a parent, guardian, custodian, or child to pay:
(1) A fine, fee, or cost under this subtitle; or
(2) A sum of money to cover the support of a child under this subtitle.
