Terms Used In Maryland Code, ENVIRONMENT 7-113

state: means :

(1) a state, possession, territory, or commonwealth of the United States; or

(2) the District of Columbia. See

All fees and penalties collected by the Department under this subtitle shall be deposited in the State Hazardous Substance Control Fund established under § 7-218 of this title.
