Terms Used In Maryland Code, INSURANCE 26-303

state: means :

(1) a state, possession, territory, or commonwealth of the United States; or

(2) the District of Columbia. See

A registration certificate shall state in substance that the individual named in the registration certificate is a registered representative of a licensee in the State.
