If a covered individual is receiving benefits under this title or is taking leave for which benefits may be paid under this title, the employer of the covered individual shall continue any employment health benefits in the same manner as required under maintenance of health benefits in the federal Family and Medical Leave Act for the time period that the covered individual is absent from work or receiving benefits under this title.
