Terms Used In Idaho Code 39-702
- AED: refers to an automated external defibrillator approved for commercial distribution by the United States food and drug administration. See Idaho Code 39-701
- Arrest: Taking physical custody of a person by lawful authority.
- Person: means an individual, corporation, partnership, limited liability company, association, trust, unincorporated organization, or other legal entity or organization, or a government or governmental body. See Idaho Code 39-701
Any person may, if the person reasonably believes that another person is in sudden cardiac arrest, administer CPR or use an AED on the other person.
