The commission shall promulgate rules and regulations specifying the terms and conditions for contracting with lottery game retailers to provide availability of tickets or shares to prospective buyers of each lottery game.
A lottery game retailer contract shall not be entered into if there is substantial evidence that the prospective lottery game retailer has had a license or contract to sell lottery tickets or shares suspended or revoked in another state or jurisdiction, or has knowingly made a false statement of material fact to the lottery.
Terms Used In Idaho Code 67-7411
- Commission: means the Idaho state lottery commission. See Idaho Code 67-7404
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
- retailer: means a person with whom the lottery has contracted for the purpose of selling tickets or shares in lottery games to the public. See Idaho Code 67-7404
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories; and the words "United States" may include the District of Columbia and territories. See Idaho Code 73-114
