Terms Used In 5 Guam Code Ann. § 32801

  • Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
  • Public law: A public bill or joint resolution that has passed both chambers and been enacted into law. Public laws have general applicability nationwide.
tle IV of the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009, as enacted by Public Law 111-24, and as further amended, is applicable to gift certificates and gift cards sold by merchants doing business on Guam. Such federal law is in addition to the provisions of law enacted by this Article.
