- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
(b) A foreign limited liability company may register with the Department of Revenue and Taxation under any name, whether or not it is the name under which it is registered in its state of organization, that
includes the words Alimited liability company@ or Alimited company@ or
their abbreviations AL.L.C.@, AL.C.@, ALLC@ or ALC@, in uppercase or
