- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
Rates and amounts in §§ 9107(b)(1), 9109(c)(20), 9110(a),
9110(e), and 9115(m) of this Chapter shall automatically adjust to amounts equivalent to the per centum change in any increase
to the minimum wage.
