- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Fraud: Intentional deception resulting in injury to another.
Investigations must be conducted in accordance with § 40-1-80. Any person may file a complaint, which must be in writing, alleging fraud, deceit, gross negligence, incompetence, misconduct, or violation of the code of ethics against a licensee or a person holding a certification.
