Terms Used In South Carolina Code 47-19-180

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
The cost of inspection rendered under the requirements of this chapter shall be borne by this State, except as provided in § 47-19-30 and except that the cost of overtime and holiday work performed in establishments subject to the provisions of this chapter, at such rates as Clemson University may determine, shall be borne by such establishments. Sums received by Clemson University in reimbursement for sums paid out for such premium pay work shall be available without fiscal year limitation to carry out the purposes of this section.
