- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
The power to utilize the provisions of general laws empowering commissions to issue revenue bonds shall not be abrogated by the provisions of this article, but shall continue, and revenue bonds issued pursuant thereto shall be issued in accordance with the provisions of such general laws rather than in accordance with the provisions of §§ 6-11-490 through 6-11-600 which relate only to general obligation bonds.
