There is created within the Division of Procurement Services, the Information Technology Management Office to be headed by the Information Technology Management Officer. The office is responsible for administering all procurement and contracting activities undertaken for governmental bodies involving information technology in accordance with this chapter, and may establish a training and certification program in accordance with § 11-35-1030. All procurements involving information technology, and any pre-procurement and post-procurement activities in this area, must be conducted in accordance with the regulations promulgated by the board.
