Terms Used In South Carolina Code 12-36-2670
- Oath: A promise to tell the truth.
- person: includes any individual, trust, estate, partnership, receiver, association, company, limited liability company, corporation, or other entity or group; and
(2) "individual" means a human being. See South Carolina Code 12-2-20
The director or his designee may administer an oath to a person or take the acknowledgement of a person with respect to a return or report required by this title or the regulations of the department.
