Terms Used In South Carolina Code 58-5-950
- commission: means the Public Service Commission of the State of South Carolina. See South Carolina Code 58-5-920
- gas: means natural gas, flammable gas or gas which is toxic or corrosive. See South Carolina Code 58-5-920
- regulatory staff: means the executive director or the executive director and the employees of the Office of Regulatory Staff. See South Carolina Code 58-5-920
The commission and the Office of Regulatory Staff may employ such technical administrative and clerical staff as may be required to carry out the provisions of this article and to perform the duties and exercise the powers conferred upon it by this article in relation to gas utilities. The Office of Regulatory Staff shall institute and defend all suits or actions arising under this chapter.
