Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 82:10-a
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
The directors of each railroad corporation shall submit annually to the commissioner of revenue administration a report of the ownership of stock by the residence of the owner which shows the percentage of the total outstanding shares owned by residents of each town in the state. The reports shall be submitted by July 1, showing stock ownership as of April 1.
