petition: when used in connection with the equity jurisdiction of the superior court, and referring to a document filed with the court, shall mean complaint, and "petitioner" shall mean plaintiff. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:51

A judge who conducts a hearing pursuant to N.H. Rev. Stat. § 169-B:24, N.H. Rev. Stat. § 169-B:25, or N.H. Rev. Stat. § 169-B:26 shall not participate in any subsequent proceedings relating to the offense or conduct alleged in the delinquency petition if the minor or counsel for the minor objects to such participation.
