- road: shall include all bridges thereon. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:26
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
Any service roads constructed by the state in conjunction with but not a part of a limited access facility shall be classified by the commissioner of transportation as a class IV, V or VI highway. After any such classification the provisions of N.H. Rev. Stat. § 230:52 and 53 shall not apply and thereafter the towns or cities shall maintain any road classified as class IV or V and the highway user shall maintain any road classified as class VI.
