Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 260:6
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
- Department: shall mean the department of safety of the state of New Hampshire. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 259:19
- Person: shall mean the same as provided in N. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 259:74
A person aggrieved by an act or omission to act of the department under this chapter is entitled, upon request, to rehearing and appeal in accordance with RSA 541.
