Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 304-C:186

  • Litigation: A case, controversy, or lawsuit. Participants (plaintiffs and defendants) in lawsuits are called litigants.
  • state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
Unless the operating agreement provides otherwise, disputes between the members and disputes between the members and the managers relating to the limited liability company shall be resolved by litigation in the courts of the state of New Hampshire.
