Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 310-A:165
- Court reporter: A person who makes a word-for-word record of what is said in court and produces a transcript of the proceedings upon request.

- Reporter: Makes a record of court proceedings and prepares a transcript, and also publishes the court's opinions or decisions (in the courts of appeals).
Any person holding a valid license as a court reporter as herein provided shall be styled and known as a licensed court reporter. No other person shall assume or use the title “licensed court reporter.”
