- Injunction: An order of the court prohibiting (or compelling) the performance of a specific act to prevent irreparable damage or injury.
The executive director is hereby authorized to apply for relief by injunction to the superior court, to enforce the provisions of this chapter or to restrain any violation of the provisions of this chapter. In such proceedings, it shall be unnecessary to allege or to prove that either an adequate remedy at law does not exist or that substantial or irreparable damage would result from any continued violation. The executive director shall not be personally liable under these proceedings.
