Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 415:6-a
- Dependent: A person dependent for support upon another.
- insured: as used in this chapter , shall not be construed as preventing a person other than the insured with a proper insurable interest from making application for and owning a policy covering the insured or from being entitled under such a policy to any indemnities, benefits and rights provided therein. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 415:6
No accident or health insurance policy issued, renewed or continued after August 28, 1981 shall contain any provision denying or limiting insurance benefits because services are rendered to an insured or a dependent who is eligible for or who receives medical assistance under N.H. Rev. Stat. Chapter 167 or RSA 161.
